Iran Press/ Sports: The Asian Youth Championship wrestling matches for U20 and U15 age categories in both freestyle (FS) and Greco-Roman (GR) styles are set to take place in Amman, Jordan today (Wednesday), July 19th, and tomorrow (Thursday), July 20th.
On the first day of the Asian Championship, Ebrahim Khovari emerged victorious over his opponents and secured a spot in the 57 kg category finals.
Ebrahim Elahi, weighing 65 kg, has also advanced to the finals and will compete against India's Singh Jaskaran. In the final match of the 70 kg weight category, Ali Rezaei is scheduled to fight Taishin Yamaji from Japan. Farzad Safi Jahanshahi, weighing 79 kg, has advanced to the final round and will compete against Sagar Jaglan from India. Abolfazl Babalu, weighing 97 kg, has also advanced to the semifinal round.
