Iran Press/ Asia: The United States, which occupied the territory of Afghanistan for 20 years, finally left this country overnight when the Taliban entered Kabul and became the ruler of Afghanistan, leaving no achievements for the Afghans except ruin and poverty.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, said on the first anniversary of the end of the US occupation in Afghanistan: "We are proud that Afghanistan was freed from the US occupation on this day and the US forces were driven from the Afghan soil."
