Tehran (IP)- Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced on Wednesday that eleven Iranian prisoners have been extradited from Kuwait to Iran.

Iran PressIran News: The cooperation of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Iran's embassy in Kuwait, and the Iranian International Police facilitated the successful extradition of the prisoners.

The development comes after an eight-year gap in joint consular commission meetings between Iran and Kuwait.

The resumption of judicial cooperation was emphasized during these meetings, highlighting the importance of consular and judicial support programs for amnesty, release, and repatriation of Iranian prisoners.
