Iran Press/ Iran news: The conference revolved around 'people-oriented security', the role of Martyr Soleimani in protection-preparing for the world by the Resistance Front, and the reason behind the prominence of his conduct and ideology in the international and regional arenas.
The conference was attended by Martyr Qasem Soleimani's family, Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib, Senior Advisor to the Leader Major General Rahim Safavi, the Head of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Unit (PMU) Falih al-Fayadh, Iran's Minister of Interior Ahmad Vahidi, and a number of the Islamic world's thinkers.
During the conference, 'Soleimani Ideology' as an academic course was unveiled.
General Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Second-in-Command Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated along with their companions in a US drone strike authorized by the former US President Donald Trump near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
General Soleimani and his companions were highly popular because of their key role in eliminating the US-backed ISIS terrorist group in the region, particularly in Iraq and Syria.
General Soleimani traveled to Baghdad at the official invitation of the Iraqi government when attacked by the US.
