Iran Press/ Iran news: Abolfazl Amoui, expressing satisfaction with the cooperation between Iran and Belarus in international forums, said: "Continuation and strengthening of the cooperation will increase the level of cooperation between the two countries."
The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission member further emphasized increasing economic exchanges between the two countries.
Referring to the role of the Joint Economic Cooperation Commission of the two countries in the development of trade and economic cooperation, the Chairman of the Iran-Belarus Friendship Group of the Iranian Parliament said: "We expect that with the establishment of the new government in Iran, the chairman of the Iran-Belarus Joint Economic Commission will be appointed, and we expect that the 15th round of meetings of the commission to be held soon."
Facilitating visas, establishing a joint chamber of commerce, direct flights from Tehran to Minsk, and cooperation in fossil and modern energy were some of the things raised by the Iranian delegation.
"Belarus pursues a policy of multi-dimensional relations with other countries. In our view, the world is not just the West, and from this point of view, friendly relations with Iran are extreamly important for Belarus," said Valery Mitskevich.
"We should help increase exchanges between the two countries by holding a joint economic commission and implementing the agreements that have been signed ealier," Mitskevich ended.
