Iran Press/ Middle East: The Gazan protesters gathered in large numbers for the 41st consecutive week, calling for the restoration of the long-denied rights of Palestinian refugees who want to return to their ancestral homeland in occupied Palestine.
According to the PLO's Abdullah Hourani Center for Studies and Documentation research, the city of Gaza with 72 martyrs ranks as the highest and Rafah governorate with 33 martyrs ranks the lowest, Iran Press reported.
The report also read that the anti-Zionist event has also left 25477 injured, with 13750 of them being taken to Gazan hospitals to receive medical care and the rest were considered as the outpatients.
Meanwhile, some 45 children have been killed and categorized as the young martyrs responsible for some 17 percent of the martyrs. Some 4379 children were also injured due to bullets and air strike in Gaza strip.
The 2 female martyrs including a pregnant woman and a rescue worker were mentioned in the report. Some 2050 women were injured ,600 of whom have been injured due to bullets and the rest due to bombardments and air strikes. Some 7 disabled people were also among the martyrs.
The Great March of Return protests were launched on March 30th by thousands of Palestinian civilians in Gaza -- which has suffered from a decade-long Israeli siege -- who took to the borders to demand their right of return as refugees to their original homeland, now in present-day Israel.
Israeli soldiers and snipers use 'live rounds' against unarmed peaceful protesters, something which has been widely condemned by the international community. 105/ 203
