Iran Press/ Asia: The English version of the book written by famous Iranian author 'Jalal Dehgani Feroz Abadi' was introduced in Islamabad.
The English translation of the following book has been done by Mohammed Hussain Baqeri, who completed it in one year.
In his opening remarks, the head of the Islamabad Policy Research Institute 'Reza Mohammed' said that the translation of the following book was the need of time as it was never done before.
Expressing his views to Iran Press, the translator of the book Mohammed Hussain Baqeri said," The importance of Iranian involvement in international matters is increasing day by day, and many countries especially the diplomats, foreign policy advisors and students of foreign policy are somehow in the shock that how can we find a text on Iran's foreign policy on which we can judge what are the real sources behind Iran's foreign policy. Knowing this and keeping it in mind I decided to translate this book, which I believe is the most comprehensive book on this subject".
The author briefed the audience about the subjects and chapters discussed in the book. The head of IPRI Reza Mohammed meanwhile appreciated the Iranian government and nation for gaining success even under sanctions.
Talking to Iran Press, the head of IPRI, Reza Mohammed said, " it is a great work done by Mohammed Hussain Baqeri that he has translated a book written by a great scholar and professor of Iran. The book was originally in Persian and as he stated himself one of the Pakistani ambassadors tried to read it he took so many hours to read one page, so it is a great work he translated it into English and took one year to translate it".
The question and answer session was also opened for the participants and audience, Mr. Mohammed Hussain Baqeri answered briefly the questions asked regarding the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Expressing her views to Iran Press, the Communication Strategist of the Institute of Regional Studies Reema Shaukat said, "This book on the foreign policy of Iran is very timely and when you talk about relations between Pakistan and Iran, they are cordial and they are since long like our generations have spent time together.
So it is very important that these books not only help us highlight the issues and challenges but also the friendship that existed between the generations of Pakistan and Iran".On the demand of the audience, the head of IPRI, Reza Mohammed said that efforts will be started to publish the Urdu version of the following book also.
