Iran Press/Iran news: Jafar Mehrdad referred that US News has released the world's top universities, said: "In this database,1500 universities in the world are depicted on the basis of specific indicators of research performance and reputation, rating, and then rank each in general, regional and subject tables."
He added: "In the overall ranking table of the Islamic Republic of Iran,35 universities are ranked among the top 1500 universities in the world," Iran Press reported.
Mehrdad also said that Tehran University is the first top university of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This university is ranked 60th among top universities in Asia and is one of the best universities in the continent.
In total, the number of top Asian universities in the report is as follows: China188, Japan97, South Korea51, Turkey46, India44, Iran35, Taiwan 26.
