Minab-(IP)- Iran's Marco Polo said he has participated in 30 international exhibitions to enhance the position of Iran's handicrafts.

Iran Press/Iran news: "Nasser Rahsepar", an entrepreneur in the field of handicrafts in Hormozgan Province, southeast of Iran, known as the country's handicrafts Marco Polo said that he started to work in the field of handicrafts in 1992.

He made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency on Monday.

Rahsepar added that in 2007, he managed to establish a handicraft cooperative company in Minab city.

The entrepreneur said that he had traveled to countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Turkey in order to export Iranian handicrafts and in a tough competition with artists from African countries, China, India, and Indonesia, he has managed to find a suitable market for Hormozgan handicrafts and enhance the position of Iran's handicrafts.

Rahsepar added that since 2008, he has participated in 30 international exhibitions in Italy, China, UAE, Georgia, Sulaimaniyah, Iraq, and Turkey.

The entrepreneur said that he is the first person from Hormozgan who has participated in the great art festivals of the world and has introduced the artistic and handicraft capabilities of Minab and Hormozgan province to the world.104/213
