Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said after 40 years of revolution's victory, the people are still behind the revolution, because they believe in the revolution, and this revolution has achieved so much in these years.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Monday on the sideline of 11 February rally, Salehi said: "As you can see yourself after 40 years of hardship, after 40 years of limitations and constraints, constraints that were imposed upon us, even the imposed war for 8 years, still the great nation of Iran stays behind its revolution because they believe in their revolution and this revolution has achieved so much despite the all hardship that we have been through."

He added: "These hardships were imposed upon us. These hardships were created by others who don’t want to see this revolution successful."

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran added: "So, this is a testament by itself after 40 years you see millions and millions of Iranians coming out onto the streets and chanting slogans and hailing the revolution, celebrating the revolution."

"I think this is a good indication for others to follow suit, specifically the Islamic Ummah should follow suit, as to what the Iranian nation has done. So if you stand against the oppressor and if you assist the oppressed people then God will help you. As [the late] Imam has said if your intention is Godly, then certainly you will be victorious," Ali Akbar Salehi said. 101/ 211 /205
