Amir-Abdollahian: Terrorists active in this region are friends of United States
A senior aide and adviser to the speaker of the Iranian parliament, Hossein Amir Abdollahian has stressed that Terrorists who are active in this region, are all 'friends of the United States'.
Amir Abdollahian said the Americans certainly don't want their terrorist friends to leave Syria, without special arrangements being made for them. The terrorists who leave Syria are battle-hardened fighters who can easily carry out a terror attack where ever they go, including in their home countries if they ever go back home.
Mossad, CIA, and Takfiri circles are behind these terrorist attacks, he said, adding that this was a simple attack which targeted defenseless civilians, while if they wanted to do complicated operations, they should have designed it at other levels, Mehr news agency reported.
European countries’ delay and silence in condemning the Ahvaz terror attack are questionable, Amir-Abdollahian added.
On Saturday 22nd September 2018, gunmen opened fire on people from behind a viewing stand at Quds Boulevard of Ahvaz during the parade held to mark the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's invasion of Iran which led to an eight-year war in the 1980s.
Similar powerful military parades are held in different cities of Iran and the terrorist attack in Ahvaz is expected to have no effect on future military parades.
