A highway patrol drone called "Rahbin"which means the one who monitors the ways, was made for the the first time in Iran.
According to the Iranian researcher who has made it. The drone us designed to film and footages of the surfaces of the roads so that the areas which should be repaired will be discovered .The films and photos will be saved as within a data transferred format on Computers for further analysis .
In Iran where is rich with hundreds of thousand kilometers of both collector roads and the country roads ,monitoring all of them need a 5-month period :the problem which has been apparently solved by Rahbin. It can also be used successfully for repairing the and fixing the cracking in roads.The project gas been sported by Iran' s ministry of roads ans .The Iranian experts at faculty of Civil engineering of Amirkabir university have designed and registered it officially.
