In an interview with Iran Press on Monday, Iran's education minister, Bathaaie, said the education sector is huge, and the education ministry must communicate with (millions of ) pupils, students, and teachers, and thus, it is essential that we make use of the latest innovative technology, particularly electronic, networking, and telecommunications technology.
Seyyed Mohammad Bathaaie added: "Fortunately in recent months, we have designed an interactive network which is particularly well-suited for schools, and this platform will be officially unveiled as part of a national interactive network soon. When this national network is up and running, interactive two-way communication between various groups, such as pupils, students, their parents, teachers and education experts will become a reality".
In further remarks, Bathaaie said: "God willing, this national interactive network will be unveiled soon, and certainly, I think, before this September , when the new school year is due to begin. I hope that in the coming weeks , we will officially announce the launch of this new interactive national network , and inform the public through the mass media. The new network will be a great help to pupils , students, parents and teachers alike".
