Iran Press/zahedan: The Sunni Muslims and officials of Zahedan attended the ceremony to honor the Sunni Muslims' role in the victory of Islamic Revolution.
The similar ceremonies will be held in other cities of Sistan and Baluchestan Province including Saravan, Iranshahr and Chabahar to commemorate 'Fajr Decade', Iran Press News Agency reported.
Molavi Nazir Ahmad Salami, Sunni parliamentarian told Iran Press, on the sidelines of ceremony that Islamic Revolution provided valuable achievements for the country and especially for people of Sistan and Baluchestan province including expansion of education and healthcare, road and urban developments and improving basic needs for people.
Fajr decade or decade of dawn is a ten-day celebration of Islamic revolution of Iran victory in 1979. The annual celebration is held between 1 and 11 February. Its beginning coincides with the date of Imam Khomeini's arrival to Iran and its ending with the Iranian Revolution victory; a day called Islamic Revolution's Victory Day or 22 of Bahman. 101/205
