Iran Press/ Iran news: The Secretary-General of the 66th summit of Eastern Mediterranean Countries' Health Ministers, Mohsen Asadi Lari noted that significant health issues will be addressed in the summit the outcome of which would be resolutions, guidelines, ratified measures and decisions, and operational plans for policymaking.
Assadi Lari stated that the summit will be held in Tehran with attendance of the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as the member states including Afghanistan, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen, Iran Press reported.
During the three-day summit, conferences and visits are scheduled to be taken place in order to introduce Iran's achievements in the healthcare area.
It is the fourth time that this summit is to be held in Iran as it was in 1989, 1997, 2006, respectively, in Tehran and Isfahan provinces.
