Watermelon is a great source of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and vitamin B1.
Moreover, it contains potassium, magnesium, carotenoid antioxidant, and lycopene. Watermelons are cultivated from a vine-like plant (Citrullus lanatus) originating in West Africa, well-produced in tropical or subtropical areas, requiring temperatures higher than about 25 °C.
According to FAO statistics, Iran is the world’s third-largest producer of watermelon. In different seasons, watermelon is cultivated in various parts of Iran so we can supply premium watermelon for potential customers in all the seasons without any limitation.
China is the world's largest producer of watermelon with 67% of total production. Turkey, Iran, Brazil, and Egypt have the next rankings with less than 4% of world production.
It is worth noting that most of Iran's watermelon is exported to countries such as Iraq, Turkey, UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
