Iran Press/America: Donald Trump administration on Wednesday granted important exemptions to new sanctions on Iran's Revolutionary Guard.

Under the new waivers, foreign governments and businesses that have dealings with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and its affiliates will not be subject to a ban on U.S. travel, New York Times reported.

The new waivers outlined by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in two notices published in the Federal Register.

On April 8, US President Donald Trump placed IRGC on terrorism blacklist which drew a fierce reaction from the global community.
