In the latest report, the General Directorate of Migration of Turkey announced that it has expelled about 124,441 immigrants in 2022, whom it called illegal immigrants.

Iran PressAsia: According to the report of this department, 68 thousand 290 people were Afghans, 12 thousand 511 were Pakistanis and the rest were from other countries whose names were not mentioned.

In this regard, the authorities of Agri province in eastern Turkey announced on Friday night that 227 illegal Afghan immigrants were returned to their country.

A Turkish official in the country's immigration department said that these immigrants were first sent to Agri Airport and from there by air to their country.

This action of Turkey occurs while Khalil Rahman Haqqani, Acting Minister of Immigration of Afghanistan, pointed out that the countries of the world should not forcibly deport Afghan immigrants.

Despite the growing wave of cruel sanctions and the silence of the international community against this obvious violation of International, as in the past years and decades, Iran has accommodated the largest number of immigrants, especially Afghans, respecting tradition of philanthropy and good neighborliness.
