Iran Press/Iran news: Delivering a speech in specialized meeting of 'Islamic Unity, the Secret of Authority and the Way to Overcome Global Arrogance', Foad Izadi said that US collapse and US decline are two separate issues, most experts agree on US decline, but regarding US collapse, there are different points of views.
Referring to the reasons which caused the US decline, Izadi stated that US failure in Iraq and Afghanistan war is considered as one of the reasons.
He went on to say that the economic crisis that began in 2008 also affected the US decline.
"According to Washington post, collapse indexes are seen in the US too," he added.
Izadi also referred to the role of Iran and Islamic resistance in US failure in west Asia, adding that Iran and some countries played an effective role in increasing oil prices.
Referring to two presidential candidates, Trump and Biden, he noted that if Trump is elected, US decline will be accelerated, though he must know that policy of imposing pressure on Iran has failed.
"Both of these candidates are the result of Iran’s resistance against arrogance," he stressed.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Head of Coordination Council for Promotion of Islam Nosratollah Lotfi referred to Iran's 'Unity Week' and 'National Day Against Global Arrogance' (November 3), saying that the foundations of the Islamic Revolution are taken from the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad's lifestyle.
