IP - Families of martyrs assassinated by the (Mujahedin-e Khalq) terrorist group also known as MEK or MKO, in the Habilian Foundation, protested the invitation of the group's ringleader Maryam Rajavi, to visit Italy by some Italian parliamentarians and condemned it as a violation of human rights.

Iran PressEurope: In a statement, the families expressed their concern over the invitation extended to a terrorist who continuously spreads hatred and calls for violence.

They highlighted that documents show that the MEK has a criminal and terrorist record and is responsible for initiating suicide operations in West Asia.

The statement further emphasized that some individuals may be unaware of the dark history of this group and have joined forces with terrorists against the Iranian nation.

"Instead of supporting terrorists who promote hatred and violence, the representatives of the Italian Parliament should stand with victims of Iranian terrorism and work towards ensuring their rights are realized through trials for these terrorists," the statement reads.

The statement expressed disapproval of the Italian government's failure to address security risks related to their support of a terrorist group.

The statement urged the Italian government to fulfill its security obligations instead of ignoring these risks.
