Iran Press/ Asia: Mohammad Naeem, spokesman for the Taliban in Doha, said in an exclusive interview with the network: "Our meeting and talks with some Afghan parties are aimed at consulting with them and ensuring that the security situation of these parties and that they have no problems."
According to Al-Hadath TV, he added: "These meetings have taken place before, but this time our delegation has officially visited them and explained to them what the political system of Afghanistan will be like in the future, and on the contrary, has listened to their views and opinions."
He continued: "We want the presence of all sections of the people in the future government. We are currently in a state of emergency and we want a government system that includes everyone. Afghanistan has been embroiled in a devastating war for 40 years and now needs unity and solidarity."
"Our agreement with the United States emphasizes that no individual or extremist group from any country will be allowed to use Afghan territory against the security of other countries," the senior Taliban official said.
Elsewhere he said, "We want to build positive relationships with the international community and solve problems through negotiation."
