Iran Press/ Iran News: On Saturday, Hojjatoleslam Hamid Shahriari, was warmly welcomed by Iraqi Sunni scholars, which shows the unity of the Shia and Sunnis and Iran and Iraq's unity.
He also met with Ayatollah Basheer al-Najafi, one of Shia Marja's in Najaf, on Saturday.
Earlier, Shahriari met with a group of tribal sheikhs and elites in Karbala and said that the Iraqi tribes had thwarted the enemies' conspiracy with their unity.
The Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hojjatoleslam Hamid Shahriari, has traveled to Iraq to meet various religious figures.
