Iran Press/ West Asia: A ceremony was held on Thursday evening to commemorate forty days after the martyrdom of late Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi in Imam Khomeini Mosalla, Tehran, where the Secretary-Genera Lebanon's Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will deliver a speech via video conference.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah renewed condolences on his behalf and on behalf of the Resistance in Lebanon and all Resistance factions to Imam Khamenei, Iranian officials, religious authorities, and the martyrs' families on the martyrdom of President Raisi and his companions.
Sayyed Nasrallah said that today the Islamic Republic does not determine the path of just the Iranian nation but the fate of other nations is subject to the Islamic Republic.
"Recall how Egypt abandoned the Palestinian cause in the Camp David Accords, and at the time, there was no Islamic Republic of Iran ruled by Imam Khomeini. Imagine if Israel invaded Lebanon in 1982 and there was no Islamic Republic of Iran," Nasrallah highlighted the importance of the Islamic Republic.
He referred to the painful loss of Lt. Gen. Soleimani and Haj Abumahdi and associated the martyrdom of President Raisi to it, where the people of Iran took to the streets in mass during the funeral of martyr Raiasi and sent a very important message to the enemies.
Sayyed Nasrallah said that Iran's resilience in the midst of the tragedy set an example of a nation that is capable of withstanding difficulties and emerging victorious.
He pointed to the upcoming election in Iran and said as such the Iranian people remained orderly, peaceful, and united at the funeral of Gen. Soleimani and President Raisi, their presence this time would be manifested in the presidential elections.
The leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah prayed for the people of Iran to make the right choice in the Presidential election on Friday, June 28, as the events that take place in Iran greatly impact the entire region, and as the Iranian nation is the main supporter of the oppressed.
