Brigadier General Salami went on to warn the enemies by saying: "If you are fearful of Iranian missiles then find a shelter, or go and hide inside a bunker. He pointedly added: "The most the enemies can do is to slap sanctions on us, but we are strong economically , and we have huge resources, so sanctions are unlikely to be effective".
Elsewhere in his remarks, Brigadier General Salami said "They want us to halt our missile programme . They don't want us to develop any further missiles. But they can't force us to stop our missile programme . Thus, they are hoping we will listen to them, and halt the programme ourselves".
Turning to Syria, the second highest commander of the IRGC said the Americans created, trained and armed "Daesh" terrorists. They attacked Syria, they wanted to change the Syrian government, but they were defeated. Their policies failed. Their attacks on Syria have backfired in the sense that occupied Palestinian territories have been set on fire.
