Iran Press/Iran news: "Sacred defense, Islamic revolution" achievements exhibition held in Tehran with the participation of Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Iran's nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran.
At the "Sacred defense, Islamic revolution" achievements exhibition which took placed in Holy Defense Museum in Tehran, Iran's achievements over the past 40 years have been put on public display, particularly in the fields of civilian nuclear technology, defense industry, military equipment, passive defense, and science and technology.
On the eve of 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, an exhibition of defense achievements of Iran's armed forces, titled 'Eghtedar 40', has opened to the public at Imam Khomeini's Musalla in central Tehran.
In recent years, Iran has attained major breakthroughs in its defense sector, becoming self-sufficient in manufacturing military equipment and hardware despite sanctions and economic pressures on the country.
The Islamic Republic has repeatedly assured the international community that its military power poses no threat to other countries, and that Iran's military doctrine is purely defensive and based on the concept of deterrence. 101/ 211 / 201
