Iran Press/ Asia: The number of those who tested positive for COVID-19 after receiving two vaccine doses came in at 282,018 as of Jan. 30, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).
It accounted for 0.652 percent of the fully vaccinated people that reached 43,258,354.
Among the total breakthrough cases, the number of critically ill patients was 2,676. The death toll stood at 1,584.
The total number of those who were infected with COVID-19 after receiving booster shots was 40,809 by Jan. 30, taking up 0.176 percent of the total 23,161,675 who got the booster jabs.
The number of critically ill patients who received booster shots was 118, and the death toll came to 68.
In the latest tally, the country reported 35,286 more COVID-19 cases for the past 24 hours, lifting the total number of infections to 1,044,963.
The daily caseload stayed above 30,000 for the third straight day amid the spread of the Omicron variant.
