Iran Press/ Middle East: At the commemoration ceremony to mark the demise of the founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini on Saturday evening held in the conference hall of Al-Hashd Al-Sha'abi, Iraj Masjedi pointed to the depth of relations between the two nations of Iran and Iraq.
"Iran and Iraq nations are always together in times of difficulty and defense of the issues of the Islamic world, and no power can separate them," he noted.
He underlined that the resistance of the Palestinian people against the Israeli regime arose and was inspired by the revolution of Imam Khomeini.
In honor of the memory of the commanders of the victory over ISIS, Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, he praised the sacrifice and courage of the Al-Hashd al-Sha'abi and all Iraqi armed forces in the fight against terrorism.
Masjedi stated that the United States and its agents tried hard to break Imam Khomeini's divine movement, the last of which was former US President Donald Trump, but they were all thrown into the dustbin of history.
He added that Joe Biden's administration had been forced to negotiate with the Islamic Republic of Iran because it was aware of Iran's power in the region.
The head of the Al-Hashd al-Sha'abi also said Imam Khomeini's revolution had given a new meaning and concept to humanity in the world.
Falih Al-Fayyadh added that the policy of the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran is a divine policy, and that is why in Iraq, Imam Khomeini's revolution is always viewed with respect and appreciation.
