Recent fires have nothing to do with cyber attacks Iran FM Spokesman

Tehran (IP) - In response to alleged claims of sabotage and cyber-attacks against Iran, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman called the recent fires unrelated to cyber-attacks and said: "It is very natural to say that from now in case of any cyber-attack on Iran, the main suspect will be the U.S. government unless proven otherwise."

Iran PressIran News: Speaking to reporters about the allegations of sabotage and cyber-attacks against Iran by some governments and regimes, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said: "Thousands of cyber-attacks on the country's infrastructure on daily basis are nothing new. Most of these attacks are repelled without any effect by our defense systems and computer crash response teams."

Mousavi added that in recent months, there have been several cyber-attacks on the country's infrastructure, which by analyzing the dimensions and technology used, it can be said that these attacks have been supported or carried out by governments.

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman added: "Fortunately, the attackers did not achieve their main goals in these attacks. Technical and electronic surveys have been conducted by Iranian experts, and governments supporting and directing the attacks, along with the groups overseeing the attacks, have been identified."

Mousavi continued: "The volume of crimes and violations of international law, most of which are carried out by the US government, is a matter of concern to the whole world, to which the international community must respond appropriately."

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman added: "We will put on the agenda, the international pursuit of Trump's illegal and criminal order and proving the responsibility of the US government. We also reserve the right to self-defense and to respond appropriately to the aggression and damage to our country by cyber and non-cyber-attacks."

"In addition, we will make every effort to prove the international responsibility of the country that initiates or facilitates such attacks and to hold them accountable for their illegal actions," Mousavi said.  221/207
