Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in a message has said that Nakba Day has been named correctly because it reminds everyone of driving Palestinians out of their homes, ruining their houses and farms, as well as murdering the Palestinian activists and ordinary people.
"In this tragic disaster, which is aptly named Nakba Day, the apartheid Zionist regime was established and millions of Palestinians, as the original inhabitants and owners of Palestine, were forced off their ancestral lands," the Iranian president said in his message.
Raisi stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the crimes of the Zionist apartheid regime against the Palestinian nation and the nations of the region.
He added: "Iran stresses the necessity of deterrence by international responsible institutions to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime and support the Palestinian nation."
Iran's President message emphasized on supporting the cause and legitimate resistance of the Palestinian people in the path of liberating the occupied territories to form an independent and unified government in the entire historical land of Palestine with Quds as its capital.
Raisi also said: "May 15, 1948, reminds us of one of the most painful tragedies in human history. This ominous phenomenon has led to the most protracted and miserable political and human crisis worldwide in the last one hundred years and has brought about extended insecurity in the west of Asia, organized occupation and cruel usurpation of the Palestinian territories, killing of the innocent people of Palestine and violation of the most fundamental rights of the original inhabitants of this sacred land in the past 75 years." 219
