Iran Press/ Iran news: Ebrahim Raisi, following the assassination of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense, issued a message condoling the martyrdom of this educated scientist and wrote:
"Once again, the criminal hand of elements affiliated with foreigners and international Zionism, with the sinister aim of countering the scientific progress of the country, targeted and martyred one of the prominent figures, managers and scientists of Islamic Iran.
The martyred scientist "Mohsen Fakhrizadeh" during the holy defense, in the guise of protecting the country and the Islamic Revolution, sacrificed his life and then entered the scientific and research fields of the country by using God-given genius and talent, Causing the growth of Islamic Iran in the fields of science and technology and nuclear knowledge; and now his martyrdom will definitely give more prosperity to the scientific achievements of the country.
Since the occurrence of these unfortunate incidents and the loss of the great man of science and practice are a sad and irreparable loss for our society and the action taken is considered a great crime and the repetition of such incidents is not acceptable at all, the intelligence services and relevant security and judicial authorities are obliged to prosecute and punish all those involved in this crime, including the perpetrators, designers and associates, as soon as possible and using all intelligence means to identify and arrest the mercenary and criminal elements. 219
