Iran Press/ Africa: During the Sunday evening session of the program, a question and answer session was held for young men and women attending the Qur'an memorization course, and a speech was made about the importance of supporting the Axis of Resistance by Sheikh Bala Afuwa.
During the night session, recitation of the holy Qur'an, prayer for the victory of the Axis of Resistance, and public lectures by Sheikh Abdullahi Hassan Azare were made.
Sheikh Bala Afuwa, who spoke to Iran Press on behalf of the Huffaz Forum, calls for the Nigerian Government to follow Africa to take legal action and impose sanctions against the illegitimate state of Israel for its crimes against humanity in Palestine and Lebanon.
Sheikh Bala Afuwa said: "There are several actions to be taken by the Nigerian Government. Firstly, we want our government to cut all diplomatic ties with the Israeli regime, both politically and economically. Economically, we want the Nigerian Government to cut off all transactions with Israel. And any support given to Israel by the Nigerian Government should be stopped."
"Secondly, still, as citizens, we want the Nigerian Government to take similar action that was taken against the Israeli regime by the South African Government. What I mean is that Nigeria should take the issue of Palestine to the International Criminal Court so that Israeli officials should be punished. Thirdly, we Nigerians, want our government to give all support to the Palestinians, including both politically and economically. These are some of the actions we want the Nigerian Government to take against the Zionist regime," He added.
