Iran Press/Iran news: Qom Friday prayer leader, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi said on Thursday morning that since the Islamic Revolution of Iran, some 2000 Islamic seminaries have been established in the Islamic country.
Speaking at the third summit dubbed as 'the Islamic seminaries and the future', held in the "Quds" hall of the central library of Razavi Holy Shrine in Mashhad, the Senior cleric stressed that the Islamic seminaries have undergone a dramatic change of scientific, research-based and infrastructural nature.
Qom Friday prayer leader, then explained further to call some 200 disciplines and courses in the fields of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), ?Ilm al-Kal?m (Islamic scholastic theology) and the Islamic sciences based on humanities together with some 2000 professors as the main factors of such eye-catching change.
