Iran Press/ Asia: President Raisi said that the 'Martyrdom' of thousands of Palestinian people by the Israeli regime is the result of US and EU support.
Palestine, the first issue for mankind
"Palestine today is the top issue of the Islamic world and humanity," President Raisi said.
Stating that there is no barrier to the development of relations between Iran and Tajikistan, the Iranian President stressed that, despite being under sanctions, the Islamic Republic of Iran has much potential in various fields.
"Iran has good potential in the fields of energy, agriculture, industry, and mines, and we are ready to share our experiences with the people of Tajikistan," he said adding, "With many cultural similarities with Tajikistan, we can have very good cooperation; It was decided to take steps to develop the Persian language by activating the cultural sectors of the two countries."
The Iranian President says there is no barrier to Iran and Tajikistan elevating their relations but there is yet to shore up ties in the economic area.
He referred to the Western cultural war against the region's countries and stressed the preservation of cultural assets to protect the youths from the war.
"We must preserve our common cultural assets against the Western cultural invasion; Our shared cultural commonalities is a great asset for both Iran and Tajikistan," he added.
Afghanistan common concern of Iran and Tajikistan
President Raisi also highlighted the issue of Afghanistan as a common concern of the two countries and it is the right of the Afghan people to advance and have an inclusive government representing all political parties and tribes.
Iran's President left Tehran for Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan on Wednesday, November 8, and was officially welcomed by his Tajik counterpart Imomali Rahmon.
The Iranian President castigated international organizations for their failure to restore peace to the world and stop aggression against weaker nations, citing the ongoing Israeli carnage in the Gaza Strip.
Ebrahim Raisi made the remarks on Wednesday, before departing for an official visit to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, in a reference to an incessant Israeli bombing campaign of the Gaza Strip that has so far left over 10,000 people killed since October 7.
Raisi also said that his visit aims to pursue the agreements signed between the two governments.
After meeting and discussing issues of mutual interest and regional matters with Tajik counterpart Imomali Rahmon, Iranian and Tajik ministers signed MoUs in the Presence of two Presidents.
After signing Mous, Raisi and Rahmon take part in a joint news presser.
The Tajik President Imomali Rahmon said, for his part, Iran and Tajikistan enjoy the capacity to grow in different areas, expressing his support for the continuation of cooperation between the two countries.
He called on the comprehensive implementation of the agreements signed between the two sides, including in communications, trade, transportation, agriculture, and energy.
Concerning the developments going on in the region and expressed his support for the political solution to the crises.
