Iran Press/ Asia: The President of Iran, who traveled to Turkmenistan to attend the 15th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), arrived a few minutes ago.
"Iran President said that the aims to visit Turkmenistan are to extend bilateral, regional ties and cooperation," Before leaving for Ashgabat, Raisi told reporters at Tehran airport:
"Both sides would discuss gas and transit, among other issues," he added.
Raisi also clarified that bilateral meetings with regional countries would be held during the trip to Ashgabat.
"We are going to Ashgabat to attend the 15th Summit of the ECO, which will be chaired by Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov," the president highlighted.
The slogan of the summit is 'Together for a Better Future.'
