Iran Press/Iran news: According to the Iran Press news agency, "Masoud Pezeshkian" on Tuesday, in a meeting with "Nikol Pashinyan", the Prime Minister of Armenia, who traveled to Tehran to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of Iran's new president, said that the relations between the two countries are long-standing, historical and friendly.
The new president of Iran stated: With the will of the high officials of the two countries, we will try to strengthen the relations as much as possible in the new period by using all available capacities.
In the continuation of the good cooperation between the two countries, Pezeshkian called it a suitable platform for the development of communication in various commercial and economic, cultural, scientific, and technological sectors and added: We look at the communication routes, including the North-South Corridor, as an opportunity for the development and progress of all countries. We are looking at the region, therefore completing the projects of this sector will be one of the priorities in the new period.
Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, while congratulating the election of Masoud Pezeshkian as the President of Iran, described the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Armenia as strategic, and deep-rooted.
