Kazemi outlined some of the actions taken in the field of economy-production and trade as follows:

- Supporting investors from both countries to boost Iran-Afghanistan trade and establish mining companies is part of measures taken in the production and trade economy field.

- Iran is currently the largest trading partner of Afghanistan, according to the announcement of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI).

- The Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Afghanistan announced that Iran had strong commercial, cultural, and political ties with Afghanistan last year.

The presence of Afghan immigrants in Iran for over four decades, the movement of Afghan citizens to Iran, and the good relations between the people of Iran and Afghanistan have led Afghans to view the Islamic Republic of Iran as their second home.
