The talks tasked with negotiating a plan to achieve the complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula will be held tomorrow and day after in Pyongyang. After the talks, Pompeo is scheduled to meet his Japanese and South Korean counterparts in Tokyo.
It marks his third visit to the North after he traveled to the country during the Easter weekend and then in May to help arrange the Washington-Pyongyang summit.
The U.S. State Department said on Monday that Pompeo will continue consultations and implement the forward progress made by Trump and Kim on the North's denuclearization in Singapore, adding he will meet with Kim and other North Korean officials.
