Iran Press/Iran news: The people of holy city of Mashhad, which is the center of North Eastern Khorasan Razavi Province, were present in huge numbers at the Holy Shrine of the eighth Shia Imam, Imam Reza (peace be upon him) to celebrate Imam Hussein's auspicious birth anniversary.
Two other auspicious birth anniversaries follow tomorrow and day after tomorrow (10 and 11 April), namely that of the Fourth Imam, Imam Sajjad (Peace be upon him) and Hazrat Abolfazl Al Abbas, the son of Imam Ali and brother of Imam Hussein (peace be upon them).
The three birth anniversaries fall on three consecutive days, 9 -11 April, with Tuesday marking the first day of celebrations which belongs to the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny), Imam Hussein (PBUH), the third Imam of Shia Muslims. 103/211/203
