Iran Press/Iran news: Intense rainfall in southwestern Iran has caused Arvand Roud river to burst its banks.
Various cities and towns in the southwestern Khuzestan province have been inundated with floodwaters, such as the cities of Abadan, Khorramshahr, Minoo Shahr, and Arvandkenar, Iran Press reported.
Heavy downpours have caused the Arvand Roud river to burst its banks. Rescue and relief operations, aid workers, the Army and Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), various government departments, the provincial governor, and Friday Prayers leaders are all taking part in organizing relief and aid efforts.
