Gazans held a demonstration for 68th consecutive week along the occupied Palestine border.

Iran Press/ Middle East: The 68th 'Great March of Return' demonstration was held on Friday with the slogan: "Return Palestinian Refugees of Lebanon."

As always, the demonstration was held along the borderline between Gaza and occupied territories, and the participants condemned Israel's decades-long occupation of Palestinian territories by the Zionist regime, Iran Press reported.

The slogan chosen for this week 'Great March of Return' protests was after the Lebanese government recently implemented a plan which targets labor market irregularities.

It is said that by implementing this project, many foreign laborers including Palestinian and Syrian workers will be excluded from the labor market.

According to official 2017 Lebanese statistics, the number of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon is estimated at 174,422.

Nearly 270 protesters have been killed and thousands more wounded by Israeli troops since the Gaza rallies began in March last year.

The peaceful protests of Great March of Return were initiated in Gaza Strip on 30 March 2018, on the occasion of 'Land Day' and has continued ever since.

By usurping Palestinian lands and building illegal Zionist settlements in them, the Israeli regime is attempting to change the demographics of occupied Palestine, trying to establish domination over the Palestinian lands by expelling local Palestinians and replacing them with Zionist settlers.
