A Pakistani MP, Maleeka Bokhari, has called upon all six countries attending the Second Conference on Combating Terrorism in Tehran to devise a cohesive strategy against Terrorism.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Saturday, a member of Pakistan's parliament, Maleeka Bokhari, also called upon regional countries to adopt a common cohesive strategy towards Terrorism.

She said: "I think this is a very important conference. This is a very important platform for the six countries that are being represented here Today." 

The Pakistani MP added: "In order to combat terrorism which is a common issue between all of us and affecting all these six countries in a very bad manner, it has obviously cost us a lot of money, cost us economic losses and it has also caused a lot of human loss. Collectively all six countries in the fight against terrorism. So this platform will enable us to devise a cohesive strategy, have a common policy, have a common laws and have common regulations against terrorism in the region and the other important aspect is inter-connectivity. We have to encourage inter-connectivity." 

Commenting further the Pakistani MP added: "So this platform will enable us to economically build ourselves together, and explore joint ideas and ventures, and joint collaborations, on the economic front. Because all these countries have suffered  through terrorism and have lost a lot economically. So this platform will enable us to come together, and explore mutual cooperation areas."  

Second Conference on Combating Terrorism, with top parliamentarians from Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Russia, and China took part, was held in Tehran on Friday and Saturday.
