Islamabad (IP) - On the occasion of International Ali Asghar Day, also called the International Hosseini Infant Day, women participated in a ceremony to mark the occasion with infants and young children and dressed in green clothes in the capital city of Pakistan.

 

Iran PressAsia: Children and women mourned and lamented, remembering the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala.

The women said that Ali Asghar Day is celebrated in Muharram in memory of Hazrat Ali Asghar, who was the youngest child of Imam Hussain (A.S), martyred when he was only six months old, and his martyrdom is always remembered every 2nd of Muharram here in this special way likewise all over the world.

The participants said that Ali Asghar is the youngest martyr of Karbala and the history of Karbala is incomplete without mentioning this infant; that’s why mothers bring their infants in the procession in special green headbands, scarfs and dress and pay tribute to the young martyrs of Karbala.

They said that the eternal sacrifice of the young martyr will be remembered till the Day of Resurrection. On this occasion, the children paid homage to the sacrifice of the young martyr Ali Asghar.
