Iran Press/ America: Deputies are investigating a deadly shooting in Lake Worth Sunday afternoon, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. When deputies arrived at the scene on South G Street near 9th Avenue, they found one man dead and two other men injured.
The two men were transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to deputies. Violent Crimes Division detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are on scene, the sheriff's office said.
Family members tell CBS12 News that the victim's name was David Goodman. Goodman's grandmother, Patricia Freeman says the 21-year-old Riviera Beach man was a "good boy" who enjoyed spending time with his friends. There is no known motive or suspect at this time.
America is facing a wave of violence, hostage-taking, and armed attacks, and the US President Donald Trump is one of the supporters of the gun lobby.
At the beginning of his presidency, Trump told gun owners in the United States, "The eight-year-old assault on the rights of American gun owners is over, and now they have a real supporter in the White House."
Every year thousands of people lose their lives or get wounded by gun violence in the US. Based on official statistics there are around 270 to 300 million guns in the United States, which is almost one gun for every American.
