Tehran(IP): Iran's Oil Minister said that Tehran is ready to increase crude oil production to the pre-sanctions level as soon as possible.

Iran PressIran News:  Stating that this winter is very important for the Europeans and the whole world, Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji said: As the world's largest holder of oil and gas reserves, Iran is ready to increase its crude oil production to the pre-sanctions level as soon as possible.

According to Iran Press, reporting from the Ministry of Oil, Javad Owji stated on the sidelines of the 30th meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies known as the OPEC Plus alliance:

"This meeting was held when, based on the decision-making process of the previous months, on paper, the amount of reduction in the production of the member states of OPEC Plus will be practically zero at the end of August 2022 as part of the July 2021 agreement.

He stated that the OPEC Plus decided to gradually increase its oil supply to the market on a monthly basis, and based on the planning within the framework of the agreement, the production level of the OPEC Plus countries has returned to the level before the start of the agreement in July 2021, he stated:

"However, according to what had been decided earlier, the OPEC Plus agreement has been extended until the end of 2022 and the producers in this agreement seriously want to continue cooperation to support the stability of the oil market and protect the achievements of this agreement."

The oil minister said: What was emphasized in this meeting by all the member countries is the continuation of cooperation between OPEC and non-OPEC in the field of maintaining and improving the stability of the oil market, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the highest level, emphasizes the continuation of cooperation between OPEC and non-OPEC producers and supports it.
