Iranian FM:

Republic of Azerbaijan (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister says the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is a special opportunity to strengthen multilateralism for solving global challenges.

Iran press/ Asia: In a tweet on Tuesday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote: "Due to the diversity of its member countries, the Non-Aligned Movement enjoys a special capacity to strengthen multilateralism and contemplate on solving new global challenges."

Amir-Abdollahian arrived on Tuesday in Baku, the Azerbaijan Republic's capital, to participate in the Non-Aligned Movement.

He added that his participation in the NAM meeting is an opportunity to pursue and promote the Iranian neighbor-centric policy in the region. 

Titled 'Non-Aligned Movement; Unified, Firm against Emerging Challenges', this year's NAM meeting begins on Wednesday and is underway for two days in Baku.
