Over 180,000 Muslim worshippers took to the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound to perform prayers for the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadhan.

Iran Press/Middle East: Muslim worshippers arrived at the al-Aqsa Mosque in al-Quds through the Damascus Gate to participate in the first Friday prayers of the holy fasting month of Ramadhan.

Head of the public relations office at the Islamic Endowment Department, Firas al-Dibs, said that more than 180,000 Muslim worshippers took to the Al-Aqsa to perform Friday prayers, Maan News Agency reported.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that Israeli police forces, who were situated at the gates of the Al-Aqsa compound, banned the crews from entry.105/205
