Iran Press/Asia: A powerful Tornado flipped buses and damaged buildings at Antalya city center, also caused major damage to planes and facilities and equipment at Antalya airport.
Antalya Governor, Munir Karaloglu said that two planes and a police helicopter had been significantly damaged when five tornadoes hit the city over the past four days on Saturday, Turkish Daily Sabah reported.
Two people were killed 4 days ago after first tornado struck the city.
Severe thunderstorms with tornadoes and large hailstones hit Antalya and its vicinity on Saturday morning.
Up to 229 buildings had sustained damage in the powerful storm and tornadoes which downed trees and blocked roads in the city center.
Electricity power cut off on Saturday evening for a couple of hours when freak weather caused major damage to 140 transformer stations in Antalya.
Air traffic in Antalya international Airport back to normal situation at Saturday afternoon although bad weather was expected to continue until Sunday.
