Iran Press/ Iran news 'Mojtaba Zolnur', referring to the recent remarks of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo about the US efforts to activate the Snapback Mechanism said: "US officials' remarks lack a legal basis."
Zolnur pointed out: If the United States wants to unilaterally activate the Snapback Mechanism against the Islamic Republic, the plan of the Iranian parliament, obliges the government to retaliate with an action such as scaling back the commitments in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
The head of the National Security Commission of the Iranian parliament, stating that according to the parliament's triple-urgency plan, the Islamic Republic can produce nuclear fuel up to 90,000 Separative Work Unit (SWU) and produce and store and sell heavy water in any amount, added: "Iran can also build, install and activate the centrifuges to the desired extent and to suspend the implementation of the Additional Protocol, which has been voluntarily accepted Under JCPOA."
