Iran Press/Iran News: The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said, so far, 2,674 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus during the 24 hours.
Sima Sadat Lari said on Friday about the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to July 31 in the country, 2,674 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed and the number of patients with this disease reached 304,204. And also 1,523 of the new patients were hospitalized."
The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 197 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 16,766 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
The official stated, "4021 patients are in intensive care units."
So far, around 2,456,909 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.
According to the spokeswoman, Tehran, Mazandaran, Golestan, Fars, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Isfahan, Alborz, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Semnan, Lorestan and Hormozgan are in Red zone.
Also, she added West Azerbaijan, Khuzestan, Bushehr, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Zanjan, Hamedan, Kohgiluyeh, and Boyer Ahmad, Markazi, Yazd, Gilan, and Qom provinces are on alert.
