Khash (IP) - The public relations of the General Directorate of Intelligence of Sistan and Baluchistan of Iran announced the connection between the agents of the assassination of Molavi Abdolvahed Rigi with one of the Arab countries.

Iran PressIran news: Molavi Abdolvahed Rigi, the Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Imam Hossein (A.S.) mosque in Khash city, who was one of the leading clerics in the region and Sistan and Baluchistan province of Iran, was kidnapped and martyred on Thursday by unknown people.

This Cleric was the one who played an effective role in the direction of peace and compromise and inviting people to calm down.

According to the Iran press news agency, the public relations department of Iran's Sistan and Baluchistan General Intelligence Department announced in an announcement that following the arrest of the assassins of martyred Molavi Abdolvahed Rigi by Iran's security and law enforcement forces in the initial interrogations regarding the hidden mechanism adopted for the martyr's abduction, the manner of abduction and transfer, the place of captivity and the manner of martyrdom were revealed.

This announcement adds that, based on the confessions obtained, this team planned to assassinate another person after calming down the atmosphere caused by Molavi Rigi's martyrdom.

In the continuance of the public relations notice of the General Intelligence Department of Sistan and Baluchistan of Iran, it is stated that due to the complexity of the matter and the connection of one of the terror agents with one of the Arab countries and the meetings held in the target country, specialized investigations are on the agenda and the results will be announced later.

It should be noted that the Ministry of intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced in a statement on Wednesday that 3 perpetrators of the assassination of the Sunni Imam of Imam Hossein (AS) mosque in Khash city were arrested while fleeing the country.
